bioThe band started with Luke, Grant and Ryan, all skilled and seasoned musicians, in search of creating punk rock, perhaps dabbling in a little bit of ska. However, they all felt as though something was missing.... Within days a new member, Dave had found his way into the mix with his golden horn. Another few days or weeks later, who really remembers, Paul was recruited to add some fatness to the guitars. Still, something, or someone, was missing...the voice of an angel. Instead we found J, the craziest front man ever seen. We all started jamming together mid 2007 just for some fun and a local battle of the bands. As soon as we stepped on stage for the first time we all felt that special kinda feeling and knew we were onto something good. We played the battle not 3 weeks after forming and ended up winning. We've gained,and sadly lost one or two members along the way...Andrea and KC joined us with heir mastery of Trombone/Uphonium and sax, respectively, but have moved on into the big bad world since...
Never the less, we still know how to rock and try to explore all styles of music that appeal to us.
After many hours of contemplating, we have decided to describe our music as afro-reggae-punk-rock-jazz, and as that suggests we play a blend of those styles of music. We like to think that we have a very unique sound, and by way of which we feel we appeal to everyone who likes music or just rocking out.
